Meditation is a practice tool, it is a great way to balance body mind spirit,  and may have positive effects for you  physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritual and become aware. It has been proven through scientific study that Meditation may promote peace, balance, a sense of calm or relaxation, when practiced on a regular basis.

Focusing on the breath and allowing thoughts and emotions to pass by, is simple the more we practice the more present we become. We can bring ourselves to the present moment in daily life by simply being mindful, or rather observing, noticing out thoughts, feelings and emotions and happenings at any given time and allowing whatever to arise without judgement. Overtime your perspective may change from doing things to being present and in the moment.

There are many different types of Meditation techniques to experiment with to see what is right for you, to quiet the mind, connect to the silence within or just to relax the body and mind. Below is a list of a few.

So how do you learn how to meditate?
If you would like to start one of the easiest ways to begin meditating is by focusing on the breath — an example of one of the most common approaches to meditation is: concentration, mantra and mindfulness.

We would like to invite you to try a simple Three Step Guide for a Mediation.
1. Begin by finding a quiet place where you can sit comfortably with out being disturbed.
     Bring your attention on the breath at the nostrils as you breath in and out. 
2. Observe your breath without controlling its pace or intensity.
3. If your mind wanders, return your focus back to your breath at the nostrils.

​Maintain this meditation practice for two to three minutes to start, and then try it for longer periods. Although our minds are not used to mediation, and this may be fustrating at first, with commitment to a meditation practice and an intention to relax, you would begin to settle and you may experience more and more calmer states.
